Like everyone else, we’re following the Coronavirus (Covid-19) situation in NYC and around the world very closely. We have decided to postpone Monday evening’s production of The 24 Hour Plays: Live Podcast at WNYC’s The Greene Space. (Already have your ticket? Scroll down for refund information.)
It has always been our mission to bring creative communities together to create new plays and musicals in 24 hours. But on days like today, we have to acknowledge that bringing our community of artists and audiences together is not in our best interest due to growing health concerns over the spread of the Coronavirus (Covid-19).
Over the past few months, our staff has been hard at work to bring you an entirely new way to enjoy our lightning-in-a-bottle performances with The 24 Hour Plays: Live Podcast. Although we wish that we could confidently invite you to be with us on Monday evening, we hope you’ll join us at a later date once we have rescheduled the event.
We are very grateful to the team at The Greene Space, to our board of directors, staff, participants, and all of you for your continued support.
Our decision here felt right for our organization at this time. Like everyone else, we are learning as we go and trying to both prioritize public health and retain a concern for the fragile economy of the theater’s ecosystem. If you’d like to know how you can support a small arts organization like ours, visit our support page.
Best wishes,
