Benefiting the reconstruction of El Circulo Teatral
The 24 Hour Plays Mexico, is a scenic event consisting of the performance of 6 short works that are written, rehearsed and presented in a span of 24 hours. THE 24 HOUR PLAYS® has been presented all over the world in cities such as New York, London, Hamburg, Dublin, Athens, Los Angeles and now in Mexico.

What is THE 24 HOUR PLAYS®?

We started by bringing together a diverse group of renowned theater artists in Mexico (6 playwrights, 6 directors, 30 actors and 6 executive producers) who will meet each other the night before the event. The dramatists choose their cast and begin to write.

The next morning the directors know what work they will direct and the cast that corresponds to them and all are ready to rehearse. That night at 8:30 p.m. the curtain goes up and is presented for the first and only time, these 6 original works.

The money raised will go towards the reconstruction of El Circulo Teatral, which was structurally affected by the earthquakes on September 19.
